The 1933 Group is "three guys who have been friends and business partners for more than ten years", according to owners Bobby Green, Dimitri Komarov and Dmitry Liberman. Taking their name from the year Prohibition was repealed, the group prides itself on creating and managing bars with a warm, relaxed, neighborhood atmosphere.
Bobby Green, along with Dimitri Komarov and Dmitry Liberman opened their flagship property, Bigfoot Lodge, in Los Angeles on June 11, 1999 and then followed suit with a Bigfoot Lodge in San Francisco (2001), The Little Cave (2004 - Highland Park), Saints & Sinners (2006 - West LA) and Stinkers Truck Stop (2008 - Silverlake).
The Bigfoot Lodge, with its log cabin motif and forest theme, was an immediate success among a wide range of patrons. The Los Angeles location of the Bigfoot Lodge was recently featured as a main attraction in the 2008 box office hit film, Yes Man, starring Jim Carrey.
Bobby Green's strong artistic vision, coupled with Komarov's and Liberman's business management expertise have established the 1933 Group as a leading purveyor of nightlife in Los Angeles.
